Job Title:
Cable Assembler Job Description Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Responsibilities Perform production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools. Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies. Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies. Essential Skills One-year experience in soldering/cable assembly. Good manual dexterity. Strong mechanical build experience accurately interpreting written work instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams. Experience working in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) environment. Experience working with hand tools used in the assembly of cables and cabinet assemblies. Knowledge of cable termination including familiarity with crimping specifications and use of both automated and hand crimping tools. Good written and oral communication skills. Good computer skills with ability to work from electronic work instructions. Use of manual and automatic wire strippers. Additional Skills & Qualifications

1st shift is 5am
- 3:30pm Monday
- Thursday with Fridays scheduled off. 2nd shift is 3:30pm
- 2am Monday
- Thursday with Fridays scheduled off.

OLDSMAR, FL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00
