Electronic Assembler 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Saint Petersburg, FL 33742 Our client in the St. Petersburg, FL area is currently seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler/Solderer to join their team. This role requires a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience with soldering and assembly. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing operations by assembling parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and quality standards.
The Day-to-Day:
Assemble complex electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies based on blueprints, schematics, and bills of material. Perform precision assembly using hand tools, fasteners, and other mechanical components. Conduct wire operations including cutting, stripping, crimping, plug and receptacle wiring, and hand soldering to ensure proper electrical connectivity. Execute through-hole and surface mount soldering, along with cable and harness assembly. Maintain detailed documentation of assembly and testing procedures to align with production standards. Perform quality inspections and complete checklists for each sub-assembly. Identify and report any quality concerns, and actively contribute improvement suggestions. Follow pneumatic and fluidic diagrams for utility setups. Maintain cleanroom standards (Class 10,000) as required. Support additional duties and tasks as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. IPC Certification strongly preferred. Prior experience in electronic assembly and soldering. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
