Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Solder Assembler with expertise in advanced rework of circuit card assemblies and mechanical assembly related to electronics. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in soldering and rework, with a strong background in surface mount and through-hole technologies. Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced rework on circuit card assemblies, including: BGA (Ball Grid Array) reballing and replacement QFN and other leadless package rework High-density connector repair and replacement Complex SMT (Surface Mount Technology) component rework Solder and assemble through-hole and SMT components, including fine-pitch and high-density parts Utilize hand soldering, reflow soldering, and rework tools to perform precise electronic assembly Inspect assemblies using microscopes and inspection tools to ensure proper component placement and orientation Troubleshoot and repair defective components and assemblies Collaborate with engineering teams to support design changes and resolve manufacturing issues Perform related mechanical assembly tasks: Install hardware such as standoffs, spacers, and brackets Apply adhesives, epoxies, and bonding agents as required Follow safety, cleanliness, and quality standards in all tasks
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in soldering and electronic rework, including SMT and through-hole technologies Proficient in using soldering tools and equipment such as: Soldering irons, rework stations, and reflow ovens Microscopes, X-ray, and inspection equipment IPC certifications preferred (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721) Experience with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and AXI (Automated X-ray Inspection) systems is a plus Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English Strong communication and teamwork skills Must pass Drug Test and Vision Test Must be reliable with a stable work history (no frequent job changes)
