Here’s what you’d do: Wiring Technicians assemble cable kits and wire harnesses according to drawings and guidelines to meet product specifications and quality standards.
They also inspect and adjust completed units to meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, bills of materials, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
Assemble parts or units and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames using hand and power tools.
Measure parts to determine tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
Align, fit, or assemble parts using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes.
Inspect parts for surface defects.
Verify part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specifications.
Clean up working areas and inventory tools. Here’s what you’ll get:
