If you possess:
High school diploma or GED required. The ability to read MOS drawings and ECOs while receiving verbal instructions regarding work assignments. Assembler, Heavy Mechanical :
What you will do: Read MOS (Bill of Materials), drawings and ECOs while receiving verbal instructions regarding work assignments. Route and lace cables, route and attach wires and connectors to form circuitry. Attach hardware and seal assemblies, Replace defective components and wiring, Repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel, Measure and cut wire, cable, outer jacket on cable, and inner wires on cable to the required length, Strip insulation off the inner wires, Perform wire termination and terminal crimping using hand tools and terminating press machines, Soldering terminals, plugs, etc., on the ends of wires by hand, Assembling plugs, connectors, and unique parts onto the cables, Positions parts according to drawings and knowledge of the component being assembled, Must be able to read measuring devices such as tape measures or rulers, Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners, May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require. Build defect-free products to design specifications, Wears all safety equipment, follows safety rules and supports, and promotes safety in the work areas. Must be willing and able to work overtime as an extension to a typical workday or on weekends, as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications Include:
High school diploma or GED required. Strong work history with 1-2 years of manufacturing experience 1+ years of cable assembly/electronic assembly experience preferred.
