Job Description

Electrical Wiring Technician 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Greensboro, NC 27499 Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Wiring Technician for our client in the High Point area. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of products used in the defense, research, and aerospace industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wiring, assembly, and precision workmanship, ensuring that all components meet strict quality standards and operate flawlessly.

Pay:

$15-$25

DOE Schedule:

This position works 6 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, You can use Fridays as make up day to make a full 40-hour work week! Job Duties Read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation to complete tasks accurately. Construct and terminate single- and multi-conductor cables in accordance with specifications. Assemble and wire panels, harnesses, and enclosures while maintaining proper layout and routing. Terminate wires precisely, ensuring correct labeling, routing, and organization for optimal functionality. Perform soldering tasks to meet industry standards, ensuring durable and high-quality connections. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail during repetitive tasks without compromising quality.

Qualifications:
Experience:

1-3 years of hands-on experience in wiring, soldering, or similar roles; experience in defense, research, or aerospace industries preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams. Skilled in soldering, crimping, and terminating wires to meet IPC-620 and

J-STD-001

standards. Familiarity with tools used in wiring and assembly, including wire strippers, crimping tools, and multimeters. Attention to

Detail:

Ability to perform precise work with a focus on quality and reliability.

Certifications:

IPC or J-STD certifications are a plus but not required.

Work Ethic:

Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of maintaining high standards during repetitive tasks.
