Job Description
STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Marker to join the team. This position is responsible for the accurate labeling of parts and assemblies using various marking methods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Understands engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements
Use the appropriate marking method (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to clearly and correctly identify materials, test pieces, and other assemblies as required
Barcode scan or manually enter identification requirements in the computer
Manually transfer ink marking onto part surfaces
Pre-form aluminum tags before assembly aluminum tags into place
Assemble stainless tags onto hoses and tubes
Assemble shrink sleeve over marking as required and set in place
Regularly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally up to 25lbs
Regularly and dependably to work on time
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
