About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial control panel fabrication, including experience with UL508A standards. This position requires hands-on expertise in panel building, testing, and commissioning, along with effective collaboration with design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality custom control systems. Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate industrial control panels in compliance with UL508A standards. o Perform metal cutting, drilling, and tapping . Execute precise component layout and mounting . Carry out wire routing, cutting, labeling, and termination . Apply accurate control panel labeling per specifications.
- Conduct point-to-point testing using a multimeter and other diagnostic tools to verify panel functionality.
- Collaborate with electrical designers and engineers to ensure optimal panel layout and high-quality end products.
- Manage and receive electrical inventory , maintaining accurate records and organization.
- Participate in the commissioning of manufactured equipment , both on-site and in-house as needed. Qualified candidates should offer the following experiences and skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in control panel fabrication.
- In-depth knowledge of UL508A standards and industrial control panel construction.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layout drawings accurately.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality workmanship with a strong attention to detail and organization.
- Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools relevant to panel fabrication.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time, typically for short durations.
