Then Read on! Working as a Production Transformer Builder at McIntosh Labs is EPICC! Together we exist to amplify life’s memorable moments – as one team! You will be part of the dynamic team that contributes and builds the fueling of the Great American Powerhouse! You will be part of the team that puts the power behind the world’s premier audio equipment!
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble cores, coil, frames, and related component parts.
- Select and move coils, cores, and frames within the department.
- Adjust and arrange table sections, fixtures, and position HV leads in order to avoid interference and damage.
- Assembly of wiring harnesses using hand tools and proper assembly techniques.
- Solder, crimp, and install specialized connectors.
- Troubleshoot and test assemblies when necessary.
- Tear down and rework harnesses and transformers as needed.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings or blueprints to determine material requirements or assembly instructions.
- Assemble electrical systems or support structures that consist of wiring, assembly casings, using various means such as, but not limited to,: rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro welding equipment.
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts where needed.
- Attendance.
- Being on time for scheduled shift
What You’ll Need:
- 2-4 years of Transformer Building or Coil Winding Experience
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items for a prolonger period of time.
- High Attention to detail
- Hiring rates may be dependent on several factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location, or special skills
