Panel Shop Technician ApTask Warrendale, PA 15086 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical wiring, machining, and fabrication, with the ability to work with various tools and technologies. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are assembled accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Duties Assemble components and systems according to specifications and schematics. Perform electrical wiring tasks, ensuring all connections are secure and compliant with safety standards. Utilize power tools and machinery for fabrication and machining processes. Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment to ensure functionality. Interpret technical schematics to guide assembly processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency. Qualifications Proficiency in electrical wiring and understanding of electrical systems. Experience with machining processes and familiarity with surface mount technology. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Skilled in using calipers and other measuring tools for precise assembly. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
