Full Job Description Position Summary:
A&E Manufacturing is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. This role involves assembling electro-mechanical components including fans, cable harnesses, screws, PC boards, and other related parts into subassemblies and finished products. These assemblies support precision laboratory equipment used in scientific and medical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks using hand tools and fixtures (e.g., installing screws, fans, wire harnesses, circuit boards). Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and bill of materials. Inspect parts for quality and correct fit during and after assembly. Use basic test equipment or follow visual inspection protocols to verify proper functionality. Handle components with care to prevent damage, contamination, or electrostatic discharge (ESD). Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Follow all safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues or suggest improvements.
Requirements:
Prior experience in mechanical or electrical assembly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to read and interpret basic schematics, diagrams, or instructions in English. Comfortable working with small components and hand tools. Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in producing high-quality work. High school diploma or equivalent.
