Electrical Assembler Duties Include:

• Ability to read and follow wire harness assemblyinstructions
• Ability to gather materials and tooling necessary to performwork in an organized manner
• Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wirelayout boards
• Numerous hand assembly operations based on detailedinstructions
• Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wiretwisters and wire strippers
• Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses andcable assemblies using friendly test fixtures
• Use of a solder iron to solder wires to switches orconnectors
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-processassemblies and finished products
• Wire harness assembly experience highly preferred

Qualification and Skills:

• Has assembly/production experience and a strong mechanicalaptitude
• Motivated and detail oriented
• Attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity
• Proficient in basic math skill
• Wire harness experience
• Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to stand while working

• Lifting Requirements:

  Exerting up to 20 pounds of forcefrequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

• Ability to distinguish colored wires for accurate assemblypurposes
• Ability to handle small parts
• Pull/push motion up to 10lbs frequently #M1 #LI-JB1
