Yes Position Summary We are hiring a 2nd Shift Mechanic to join our West Columbia, SC operations team. This is a hands-on role involving mechanical assembly, basic fabrication, and maintenance of railway track equipment. If you have mechanical skills and enjoy working with tools in a team-focused environment, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions Dismantle and reassemble mechanical and electrical parts Operate equipment such as lathes, drills, and milling machines Perform basic welding, soldering, and brazing Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work while standing, bending, or stretching Experience in mechanical assembly or repair (manufacturing preferred) Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings Comfortable using power tools and shop equipment Basic welding or metalworking experience is a plus Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred
