Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Assembler Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components with precision, following clear manufacturing instructions, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in electrical assembly while working in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual wire stripping with attention to detail. Accurately read and follow written manufacturing instructions and blueprints. Complete work order routers and other required documentation. Meet and exceed department performance measures. Use basic gauges and measurement tools to ensure proper assembly. Work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration. Follow all safety protocols and work to department standards at all times. Assist with other duties as assigned to ensure smooth department operations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in manufacturing assembly preferred, but not mandatory. Experience with hand soldering of electronic components is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality. Willingness to work in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers. Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
