Job Title:
Electromechanical Assembler Job Description Assist the team in the mechanical and electrical builds of customer products, requiring a fundamental understanding of wiring schematics and point-to-point diagrams. Experience with crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing electrical harnesses and sub-assemblies is essential. Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, including panel wiring, adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications. Assemble finished units per customer specifications, including pulling wire, crimping, installing, and testing wiring and wiring harnesses using voltmeter and ohmmeter. Replace parts on tools as needed and according to schedule. Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct, close supervision, with output monitored frequently. Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics. Ensure assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish. Keep inventory personnel informed about spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillment. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in electrical or electromechanical assembly. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Proficiency in operating a personal computer with a Windows-based operating system and related software. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to interpret blueprints, graphs, and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with hand and power tools. Knowledge of electrical testing, soldering, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with pneumatic systems and circuit board assembly. Background in machine building and control panel wiring. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is extremely clean and temperature-controlled, with assembly areas consisting of four technicians per unit. Current shifts are between 6:00 am
- 4:30 pm, with availability required between 6:00 am
- 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Overtime is available, and double time is paid for Sundays worked. The department is rapidly expanding, seeking individuals with previous experience in electrical wiring roles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00
- $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
