Two paid breaks (10:00 AM and 2:00 PM) and a 30-minute unpaid lunch
OVERVIEW
B Level Technicians play a critical role in supporting the production of high-quality, remanufactured motors andponents. This team distinguishes itself in the industry by delivering reliable products and maintaining a strong focus on technical precision and craftsmanship. Technicians are expected to take pride in their work, continuously build their skills, and contribute to the overall success of the team and its customers.
This is a fully on-site role located in Wallingford, CT, with long-term growth potential. Candidates should bring hands-on mechanical experience and a willingness to develop toward A Level Technician responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate technical proficiency in all required B Level Technician tasks
Develop new skills and work toward promotion to an A Level Technician
Adapt to changes throughout the workday to support production needs
Collaborate with team members to maintain high-quality output and service
Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors about progress and concerns
Keep personal and d workspaces clean andanized
Ad strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition
Duties Include
Rebuild DC motors with proficiency
Operate presses for armature and rotor shaft installation
Perform basic welding (e.g., shaft repair, CE and DE head repair)
Wind stators for forklift motors
Follow instructions to teardown, prep, and rebuild both DC and AC motors
Complete shop cards accurately and track parts used during rebuilds
Maintain responsibility for both personal and d shop tools
Assist with general shopanization and cleanliness as needed
Requirements
Prior experience in motor repair, mechanical assembly, or remanufacturing preferred
Basic welding ability required
Reliable transportation is necessary
Must pass a drug screening and background check
Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on precision and quality
Pay Details:
$22.00 to $30.00 per hour
