This role is ideal for professionals with experience using laser tracking systems and interpreting complex dimensional specifications. Veterans and transitioning service members with relevant backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Operate and utilize laser tracking systems, such as Leica or Faro , for measurement and alignment tasks Use computer systems and solid modeling programs (e.g., Catia V5 ) for inspection and data analysis Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) specifications Select and apply appropriate inspection methods based on customer requirements Align parts and fixtures according to detailed work instructions, diagrams, and reference marks Support manufacturing engineering and other departments with measurement and tooling projects Assist in the construction of developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and tooling components Maintain a safe and clean work environment and comply with all safety standards Work independently on assigned tasks and transition between projects with minimal supervision Effectively communicate findings, both verbally and in written reports Qualifications High school diploma or GED Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship provided) Minimum 2 years of experience in measurement or precision inspection roles Experience with laser trackers (Leica or Faro preferred) Familiarity with Catia V5 or similar solid modeling software Proficient in interpreting GD&T specifications and engineering documents Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy Capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills
