Spherion Staffing in Lakeland has partnered with a local water treatment equipment manufacturing facility who is looking for an electrical assembler to join their team!
Highlights:
Day Shift Schedule
Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Responsibilities:
- Assist with the assembly of mechanical and electrical components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring equipment
- Work with and troubleshoot wiring components within control panels.
- May be required to fabricate simple control panels and electrical circuits for small horsepower pump applications.
- Perform simple fabrication tasks as needed, such as cutting, bending, or assembling basic metal components.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
- Perform routine electrical inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Working hours:
7:00 AM
- 4:00
PM Skills:
- Basic knowledge and ability to perform simple plumbing tasks is desirable.
- Basic fabrication skills and the ability to work with hand and power tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. …

Trade Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Proven experience and a strong understanding of electrical systems (3-phase and single-phase).
- Demonstrated experience working with wiring components and control panels.
- Solid understanding of the functionality of motor starters, relays, and PLCs in machine control.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the functionality of motor starters, relays, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and how they integrate to control machinery.
