Mechanical Assembler Job Description We are seeking a meticulous Mechanical Assembler to join our team. You will utilize hand and power tools to assemble components of heavy equipment machinery. Your role requires attention to detail, the ability to read assembly manuals, and proficiency in using measuring tools, hand/power tools, and measuring tape. Responsibilities Assemble components of heavy equipment machinery using hand and power tools. Maintain precision and attention to detail in all tasks. Read and utilize measuring tools, including measuring tape. Interpret assembly manuals and follow procedures accurately. Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented culture in the assembly department. Work efficiently in both indoor and outdoor environments under overhead settings. Essential Skills Proficiency in mechanical assembly and general labor. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with tape measures, impact drills, sockets, and ratchets. Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow work instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Possession of a basic tool set. Capability to work in non-climate controlled environments.
Shift:
6am-4pm Monday to Thursday ; 6am-2pm
Friday Pay:
$18-24 Work Environment You will work in an indoor/outdoor overhead bay equipped with overhead cranes to transport components. The role involves using hand and power tools to assemble and construct heavy machinery for construction, crushing, and mining purposes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
