Mechanical Assembler Coast Controls, Inc. 7500 Commerce Court, Sarasota, FL 34243 Assembler Coast Controls is seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Assembler responsible for constructing high-quality web guiding systems, precision rollers, and winding machinery for the converting industry. While the position focuses mainly on assembly jobs, collaboration with production and engineering is critical to ensuring on-time completion and successful startups. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to Understand how to use mechanical blueprints to build machines or sub-assemblies properly Strong mechanical and assembly aptitude Utilize measuring equipment, including volt meters, micrometers, calipers, and laser tools Occasionally work overtime to meet customer demand and deadlines Handle shipping and receiving orders Use professional verbal and written communication with team members Disassemble, insulate, and crate machines in preparation for shipment to customers Operate a Forklift to load and unload trucks and move equipment into position to assist with assembly tasks.
Jo Skills & Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED with at least two years of manufacturing experience Able to lift up to 40 pounds with a full range of arm motion to handle machinery and components Willing to comply with OSHA regulations and company safety rules Ability to be organized and keep a clean work environment Nice to have: Operate a drill press, lathe, and mill Experience with motors, drives, and electrical panels Experience with PLC programs and HMI controllers
