Position Summary :
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as a bladder builder. This specialized role involves the hands-on fabrication and assembly of high-performance fuel cell bladders used in professional motorsports applications. The ideal candidate will have strong craftsmanship, mechanical aptitude, and a passion for precision.
Key Responsibilities :
Build custom fuel cell bladders to exacting specifications using high-performance materials. Cut, shape, and bond materials in accordance with engineering drawings and templates. Perform precise measurements, trimming, and fitting of internal components. Operate hand tools, cutting tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively. Inspect and pressure-test fuel bladders to ensure integrity, performance, and safety. Maintain clean workspaces and follow company safety standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure product quality and consistency. Accurately document build processes, materials used, and quality checks
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational education is a plus. Proven experience with hands-on fabrication or assembly work, preferably in an automotive or racing environment. Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow work instructions. Comfortable using cutting tools, adhesives, and heat-sealing equipment. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a small team. Passion for motorsports or racing industry is a plus. •
Preferred:
Experience working with urethane, Kevlar, or other flexible composite materials. Prior work in racing fabrication, composites, or automotive fuel systems. Familiarity with SFI or FIA specifications a bonus
