Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team for a 6-month contract opportunity in Patterson, LA. This role focuses on assembling and testing mechanical products while identifying and resolving issues on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical components for various product lines using appropriate tools and fixtures. Perform functional testing on assembled products to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the assembly and testing process. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Utilize hand tools and rework techniques to meet dimensional specifications and tolerances. Maintain accurate labor and transaction records. Follow safety protocols and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Must be reliable and punctual.
