Mechanical Assembler Accu1Direct Inc 138 Denslow Road, East Longmeadow, MA 01028 Overview Accu1Direct seeks a mechanically inclined assembler for our production line. Ideal candidates enjoy mechanical assembly, using power tools, and are reliable and teachable. Some light electrical familiarity is also a plus. Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Duties Operate machinery and equipment on the assembly line to fabricate products efficiently. Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble components accurately. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Assist in the operation of forklifts for material handling as needed. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols within the manufacturing facility. Experience Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing facility is preferred but not required. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge, assembly line processes, and the use of power tools is advantageous. Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting, demonstrating strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs is essential.
