The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in assembling components in a warehouse environment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and instruments to ensure high-quality assembly of mechanical parts. To be able to build assemblies specific to a robot production including mechanical box builds, while adhering to customer and industry specification and/or standards Duties Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications and engineering drawings. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Fabricate parts as necessary, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications. Conduct thorough inspections of assembled products to identify any defects or issues before final approval. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding project progress and any challenges encountered. Qualifications Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred. Able to read build documentation and fill out necessary forms in paper and digital format Review and understand Bill of Materials (BOM) Production Floor Traveler, Assembly Drawings and Shop Floor documentation Familiarity with warehouse operations and assembly line processes is advantageous. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
