Machine Operator/Assembler 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28273 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring efficient production processes, and adhering to safety standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively within an assembly line environment. Duties Setting up multi-head embroidery machinery according to specifications, including adjusting settings on computer for each artwork, loading fabric onto machine, and changing thread as needed per order. Minimal labor, the machine does the work for you! Operating assigned embroidery machines for each order to embroider items such as: patches, hats, hoodies, shirts etc. Monitoring embroidery machine operations to ensure they run smoothly, reporting any abnormalities to floor supervisor, and rethreading needles as needed. Conducting regular quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards before they are folded and boxed up to the customer. Performing routine maintenance every friday such as light cleaning, lubricating with oil, and replacing parts (rarely needed), to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following safe work practices to prevent accidents or injuries. May need to lift a roll of fabric up to 50lbs up to twice daily.
