Clear Align is looking for a Diamond Turning Operator to join our 2nd shift Optical Fabrication team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operation of Diamond Turning Polishing Machines, and CNC Optical machines under the supervision of experienced technicians Follow detailed instructions to produce precision optical components Conducting optical metrology equipment to include Zygo Interferometer, Luphos, Talysurf, and other measuring devices Measuring radii, irregularities, diameters, thicknesses, sag, bevel, surface roughness, surface quality Follow standard operating procedures for optical components Reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications Accurately document production processes and results
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Technical or vocational training is a plus Hands-on Diamond Turning or optical component production experience Strong mechanical aptitude, and basic understanding of machining principles Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Highly motivated self-starter Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills Knowledge of metrology and inspection tools is a plus Working knowledge of MIL Specs, and MIL Standards is a plus U.S Person Required At Clear Align we have a clear vision: to be the place where a diverse mix of talented people come, stay and do their best work.
