Mechanical Assemblers are part of the manufacturing environment and ensure products are being built to the highest quality standards using hand tools as needed.

Responsibilities:

Use of power and hand tools to mechanically assemble tracks and or panel, which includes sectional, rolling steel, and/or fabric doors Ensure products are being assembled to the highest quality by adhering to established procedures and approved processes Work with the highest level of safety Fulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery times Use of scanners and computers to communicate production order status Provide feedback for process improvement opportunities that would enhance safety, productivity, or efficiency Maintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environment Ability to flex into other work areas as needed Must be willing to work overtime when needed.

Education:

High School High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience:

12 months

Physical:

Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs Must be able to use hand tools efficiently Must be able to work in a safe manner

Skills:

Analytical Problem Solver Capable of reading a tape measure General math skills Quick learner Able to flex in/out of different jobs on a weekly or daily basis
