Cutting Department Associate 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 3320 West Main Street, Mims, FL 32754 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cutting Department Associate to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating various cutting and fabrication machines to prepare materials for further assembly or shipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, can read technical drawings, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities Operate shop equipment including:

Panel saw CNC machine Laser cutter Edge polisher Table saw and other tools as required Read and interpret basic CAD drawings and technical specifications Use precision measuring tools (tape measurer, calipers, etc.) to ensure material accuracy Follow production schedules and complete jobs to specification and on time Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas Participate in housekeeping and 5S initiatives to maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate with supervisors and team members about material needs, machine performance, and production concerns Follow all company safety rules and standard operating procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience operating manufacturing equipment (preferred) Ability to read a tape measurer and use calipers and other measuring tools Experience interpreting CAD drawings or blueprints (preferred) Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for 8 hours. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work well as part of a team
