Hourly Job Summary:
The Creative Specialist will work with various apparel, garments, heat presses, embroidery machines, DTF (Direct-to-Film) machines, DTG (Direct-to-Garment) machine, laser engraving, sewing, and sublimation printing. They are responsible for operating various machines and selecting the appropriate materials used for each job. Responsible for creating designs based on customer needs. Responsible for performing regular machine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting any problems that may arise with the machine and resolving them.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate Heat Press, Embroidery and DTF Equipment Operate embroidery sewing machine and DTF machine to produce company logos, badges, and other uniform items for customers as requested. Use software (Chroma, Canva, Silhouette Studio, VividRIP, X-Tool) to create product designs Convert designs from electronic formats to designated format for selected machinery Verify product specifications, colors, quantities, and materials Interpret work instructions, perform quality control checks, and troubleshoot malfunctions Follow all security protocols and OSHA guidelines and regulations Provide high-quality work by monitoring printing processes to ensure consistent quality throughout production runs Load and unload substrates onto the printing equipment, ensuring placement and alignment Receive in packages from items ordered Check and keep stock in machine accessories (thread, ink, apparel, film, etc.) Maintain a clean and orderly workspace Perform other duties as assigned Physical presence at the office on a set and predictable schedule
Education and Experience:
2+ years’ proven experience operating embroidery and/or printing machines Experience in Chroma, Silhouette Studio, VividRIP, X-Tool a
PLUS Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and rectify problems Impeccable attention to detail Basic knowledge of sewing Good customer service skills Knowledge of basic computers
