Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC & Edgebander Technician to operate and maintain our edge banding machine. This technician will be responsible for applying edge banding materials to melamine and wood panels, ensuring a clean, durable finish that meets our quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain edge banding equipment (manual and automated) Set up machine parameters according to job specifications Inspect finished panels for proper adhesion and quality finish Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine Maintain accurate production records and report any material or equipment issues Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure timely workflow Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
Experience operating edge banding machines in a woodworking or cabinet manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and understand cut lists, technical drawings, or blueprints Must be able to collaborate and work well with a team Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to lift panels and stand for extended periods Forklift certified Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
Preferred:
Experience with brands such as Casadei Flexa 201, or similar Familiarity with CNC machines and other woodworking tools
