Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated SMT Technician to join our fast-paced, high-quality electronics manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment to support efficient and accurate production runs.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and tear down SMT machines according to production schedules and specifications Load/unload components onto SMT feeders and equipment Ensure correct machine calibration and settings for various jobs Conduct routine visual inspections to verify quality and adherence to standards Read and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and quality guidelines Perform minor adjustments, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on SMT machines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines Accurately document production activity and report issues or discrepancies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior SMT experience is a plus — willing to train the right candidate Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic assembly processes Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions accurately Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 35 lbs Dependable, team-oriented, and capable of working independently Commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety in all work tasks Ttw36R009P
