Lamination Operator Position Available In Bergen, New Jersey

Lamination Operator Visual Graphic Systems, Inc./Studio D Carlstadt, NJ 07072 VGS located in Carlstadt, New Jersey is seeking an organized individual with experience in the signage industry or similar type industry. This individual must work well with given timelines and have the ability to multitask across various projects. This individual must follow instructions of production schedule and specific job information.

Responsibilities:

Ensure job and material is in order prior to machine set up Observes machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction Meets or exceeds prescribed job standards for speeds, scrap and set up times Work with and understand different types of lamination equipment Work with printed graphics & utilize various types of vinyl & overlams

Skills Summary:

One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and understand work orders Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Monitors own work to ensure quality Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
