Hourly Description Position Summary :
Apply decorator stain/glaze applications to ceramic pieces efficiently and in compliance with Mackenzie Childs’ high-quality specifications and standards.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Additional duties may be assigned) 85% Apply decorator stain/glaze applications to ceramic pieces efficiently and in compliance with the Company’s high-quality specifications and standards. 5% Move pieces to and from racks and workstations. 5% Scan tags/labor into computer system for labor costing and tracking purposes. 5% Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
High school diploma or
GED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to use hand tools applicable to trade. Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. Attention to detail.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, crouch, kneel, bend, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists. Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects. Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operations, set-ups, inspections, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation.
