Adecco is recruiting for a Plastics Finisher for a client in East Syracuse, NY. This is a temp-to-hire position, paying $16-18/hour, depending on experience.
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on, detail-oriented work? Our client, a well-established manufacturingpany in East Syracuse, is looking for a Plastics Finisher to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality parts and is looking to grow within a supportive, team-focused environment.

Job Summary:

The Plastics Finisher is responsible for preparing molded parts to meet specific quality and customer standards. This includes inspecting, filling, and sandingponents as part of a small-batch production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Mix filler and hardener accurately, following detailed instructions
Inspect molded parts for voids or defects and filler as needed
Use sandpaper, drills, and sanders to finish parts to customer specifications
Verify part counts, scan job travelers, and route items to the appropriate next step
Meet production quality and quantity standards
Support quality systems and procedures, including ISOpliance
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety policies and using required PPE
Participate in ongoing training and learned skills consistently
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
Ability to read and follow written job instructions/specifications
Comfortable working with hand and power tools
Previous finishing or manufacturing experience is preferred (6+ months)

Pay Details:

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour
