Duties Consistently create and perform customer focused practices, maintaining quality workmanship at all times. Work respectfully and cooperatively with artisans, leads and management, with a goal to create positive working relationships. Maintain work efficiency and ensure goals are met. Communicate positively and effectively with others in this department, other departments and your supervisor to ensure orders are processed accurately and on schedule. Establish and maintain an acceptable attendance record, reporting to work on time and as scheduled. Utilize 4D database system to locate appropriate job templates and to track and document order production. Operate printers and plotters to create vinyl graphics. Cut and weed vinyl using various cutting and edging tools. Operate machines to include replacing blades, cut strips and inks. Organize and prioritize work. Upon completion, inspect and inventory order for accuracy before sending to the next area. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment based on company and departmental 5S standards. Other duties or tasks may be assigned as needed to meet company goals and requirements. Complete match route process according to the work order and or job specifications, paying close attention to the details on the paperwork to ensure accuracy. Enter orders using pre-designed templates and guidelines. Pull, prep and stage material for machine processing. Attend machine for tool changes when needed. Operate multiple machines and orders simultaneously while dealing with a diverse workload. Report errors, defective materials or questionable quality to the department lead. Pull paper work and create backorders when required. Qualifications have good hand/eye coordination, the ability to read rulers, and the ability to read and interpret job orders for accurate completion. Proven experience as an engraver or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with CNC machinery Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is a plus. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Strong attention to detail and precision in work output. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good organizational skills, the ability to read and interpret orders, read rulers and color match custom colors. Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator. Ability to lift heavy materials safely as required.
