Position :

This position of Graphic Sign Manufacturer is a full time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week and reports to the Department lead. Using various machines, computer software products, and a wide variety of materials to mass produce interior signs Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Consistently create and perform customer focused practices, maintaining quality workmanship at all times.
• Work respectfully and cooperatively with artisans, leads and management, with a goal to create positive working relationships.
• Maintain work efficiency and ensure goals are met.
• Communicate positively and effectively with others in this department, other departments and your supervisor to ensure orders are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Establish and maintain an acceptable attendance record, reporting to work on time and as scheduled.
• Have the ability to effectively and efficiently execute responsibilities of the job.
• Understand paperwork, varied materials and processes needed to create the specified product.
• Create print files and cut files using computer programs, specifically Adobe Illustrator.
• Organize and prioritize work.
• Use the 4D system to track and document order production.
• Order and stock materials as needed.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment as needed. Ensure all digital press ink heads, router bits and other components are routinely maintained and cleaned as required by the manufacturer.
• Upon completion, inspect order for accuracy before sending on to the next area.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment based on company and departmental 5S standards.
• Other duties or tasks may be assigned as needed to meet company goals and requirements.

Qualification and Education requirements:

• Good organizational skills, the ability to read and interpret orders, read rulers and color match custom colors. Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent. Language Skills;
• Must have ability to speak, read and understand English.

Must also have positive communication, both written and oral, between all departments. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and company procedures.

Safety Requirements:

Understand how to and regularly perform safe use of machines. General safety and housekeeping methods should be understood and performed.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the position will require sitting, standing (6

• 8 hrs.

per day), and ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Artisan is frequently required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects or tools. Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch; good hand to eye coordination and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to glue & adhesives and can be exposed to paint and ink, paint and ink fumes, and low to moderate levels of noise.
