The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and fabrication, with expertise in operating heavy equipment and performing various installations. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in building and remodeling projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Cut, shape, and polish raw materials such as granite, marble, and quartz into countertops, vanities, and other custom stone products Operate and maintain hand and power tools including saws, grinders, and polishers Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and visual defects Read and interpret CAD/ templates to ensure accuracy of measurements and cuts Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and improve processes Adhere to safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment at all times Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products Clean and maintain work area and equipment to ensure a safe and organized workspace
Requirements:
Ability to read technical drawings and CAD/Templates accurately Experience using hand and power tools to shape and cut stone Knowledge of different types of stone and their characteristics Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy stone slabs Attention to detail and ability to work precisely to create high-quality finished products Experience with polishing and finishing techniques to create smooth and shiny surfaces Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment Excellent communication skills to liaise with other members of the production team and clients
