The ideal candidate will be responsible for sanding and polishing metal components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in using various tools, such as buffers, grinders, sanders, and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate polishing machines and hand tools to achieve desired finishes on metal parts. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow safety protocols at all times while operating machinery and handling materials. Your task will be to rotary sand aluminum on semi trucks to remove pitting and get metal prepped to a polishable state. Then, you will be required to use rouge and rotary buffers to achieve a high polish finish. This job is dirty. You will be provided with PPE. This job will require you to work out doors in a shaded area for 6-8 hours daily. You will be working with with 1-2 other guys per truck. The trucks will be at the same location everyday along with your equipment. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Familiarity with hand tools used in polishing and finishing tasks.
