Full Job Description Job Summery:

Pickles stainless steel parts in accordance with company’s standard operating procedures. Monday

  • Thursday | 4 Days a week, 10 hours a day (5PM
  • 3:30AM) Training will be on Day shift
  • Monday
  • Thursday 6:30AM
  • 5PM Must complete skill checklist emailed to you to be considered MUST be comfortable with PPE safety equipment Will be working with dangerous chemicals (in full safety gear) Must be comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled environment
Job Description:

Responsibilities Lift individual parts and weldments into pickling basket Operates forklift to move pickling baskets and parts to designated area Operates overhead crane to move pickling baskets between tanks Operates filter press to capture heavy metal particulates Tests pH and TDS in rinse tanks daily Adds chemicals to tanks to keep them within acceptable range Drains and refills Simple Green, Acid, and rinse tanks when necessary Wipes down parts using melamine pads Uses compressed air to ensure no residual acid is trapped in weld joints Closes out work orders and delivers them to assigned areas Inspects acid and rinse tanks daily Performs electrochemical weld cleaning Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment Performs all other duties as directed by Management Competencies & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and seek out new skills Basic knowledge of water pumps Knowledge of work orders and blueprints Basic knowledge of water treatment including but not limited to pH, TDS and salinity Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job Self-motivated, able to work independently and as a team, and within tight deadlines Extremely organized , acute attention to detail, and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Ability to safely operate (or learn to operate) a forklift, pallet jack, extended boom lift, scissor lift, and/or overhead crane while moving machinery around the shop Knowledge of rigging and lifting hand signals Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled environment Ability to adapt to the work environment, deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events, while promoting a positive outlook Required to wear PPE equipment at all times while on production floor Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and remain on feet for long periods of time Must demonstrate manual dexterity and ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach Ability to make fast, simple repeated movements of the fingers, hands and wrists Extremely dependable; consistently at work and on time (notifies if late or absent prior to being late of absent), follows instruction, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance Excellent team member; driven to contribute to the team effort Good communication skills, both written and verbal Continuously seeking and implementing methods to increase product quality, customer service and company efficiency Displays a positive attitude Ambitious, outgoing, loyal, dynamic Respect for the Company’s resources; treat company equipment, funds, time and co-workers with respect
