• L’Atelier Paris Haute Design is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Finisher to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in perfecting the final appearance and functionality of our high-end metal products, ensuring they meet our exacting standards of quality and design.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation:

• Skillfully remove burrs, dents, scratches, and other imperfections from metal surfaces using a variety of hand tools, power tools, andmachinery.

• Finishing Techniques:

• Apply abrasive materials, polishing compounds, and coatings to achieve desired surface textures, finishes, and provide necessaryprotection.

• Quality Control:

• Thoroughly inspect finished products to ensure they meet all specifications and our stringent quality standards.

• Machine Operation:

• Safely and effectively operate various metal finishing machines, such as chamfer barrels, polishing machines, and potentially shot peenmachines.

• Material Handling:

• Select, transport, and store metal materials and finishing supplies in an organized manner.

• Safety Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures relevant to metal finishing processes.

• Skills and Qualifications:

• Dexterity and Mechanical Skills:

• Proficient in using precision hand tools and operating metal finishing machinery.

• Physical Stamina:

• Ability to stand and work for extended periods while performing finishing tasks.

• Knowledge of Metal Finishing Techniques:

• A solid understanding of different methods for polishing, coating, and preparing metal surfaces.

• Blueprint Reading:

• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications to understand finishing requirements.

• Problem-solving:

• Capacity to identify and address issues that may arise during the finishing process.

• Communication Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
• Beneficial Skills (but not always required):
