Smyrna, GA 30082 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Finisher to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the final stages of production, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. This position requires attention to detail, technical skills, and a commitment to excellence in finishing processes. Duties Operate various finishing equipment including CNC machines, laser cutting, and plasma cutting tools. Utilize hand tools and micrometers to measure and ensure product specifications are met. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying any defects or areas needing improvement. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency in the finishing department. Operate forklifts safely for material handling when necessary. Requirements Proven experience in a manufacturing or finishing role is preferred. Familiarity with welding techniques and electrical discharge machining is a plus. Experience with laser cutting, plasma cutting, and tooling is advantageous. Ability to use hand tools effectively and accurately Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing processes.
