Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Sandblaster to join our production team. This role is essential to the fabrication of our dimensional signage, specifically preparing and texturing sign surfaces using sandblasting equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and previous experience in sandblasting or surface preparation in a manufacturing or signage setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Sandblast dimensional signs according to design specifications Prepare surfaces for finishing by masking, cleaning, and ensuring proper texture Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently Ensure a clean and safe work environment Inspect finished products for quality and consistency Collaborate with production team members to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

Sandblasting experience (preferably in signage or similar industry) Familiarity with various blasting materials and techniques Ability to read and interpret job specs and artwork Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dusty environment Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred:

Experience working with dimensional signs or carved materials (e.g., HDU, wood, etc.) Knowledge of surface preparation for painting and finishing

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour
