Lincolnton, NC 28092 ProStaffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer of high-quality centrifugal fans and blowers to add a Wheel Straightener to join their team! This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and performance of our products by ensuring metal wheels meet quality and precision standards. It will require using hand tools and involves manual labor.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and assess metal wheels for defects, bends, or misalignments. Utilize hand tools, measuring instruments, and straightening equipment to adjust wheels to precise specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper alignment. Conduct quality checks to confirm compliance with company and industry standards. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience in metal fabrication, machining, or a similar hands-on manufacturing role. Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring devices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Basic math and mechanical skills. Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy materials as required.
