At Volt, our greatest strength is our people Volt is immediatelyhiring Finisher in Amityville, NY As a Finisher you will: Work withvarious equipment to perform the following functions: Mask usingproper protective tape to mask and unmask per work instruction.
Sand using proper equipment (Da or dotco sanding equipment) andappropriate sandpaper grit Mix and apply various sealants andadhesives and ensure integrity per work instruction Ability to workin a fast paced, high performing, and inclusive environment Observeindustry best practices for FOD, 5S, and material handlingcontrols. Ensure that you are following all safety requirements/PPEPromote and facilitate lean manufacturing principles within anenvironment of continuous improvement. This is a 6 Month full timeContract or Contract to hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate willhave:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3years of prior related experience. Any finishing/painting in theAutobody industry (Sanding/masking/protective tape/finishing)People that have worked construction have also worked out(Sheetrocking) Ensure that you are following all safetyrequirements/PPE Basic computer skills/literate ? able to followwork instructions, enter timecard online etc., windows/MS office
Pay Range :
$22.00 – $27 per hour. •Pay range offered to asuccessful candidate will be based on several factors, includingthe candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specificjob duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
