Powder Coater Windward Design Group 286 Meter Street, Punxsutawney, PA 15767 Overview We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to aluminum metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Powder Coater will play a crucial role in enhancing the durability and appearance of our products. Duties Operate powder coating equipment. Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or using other methods as necessary. Follow lean manufacturing principles to ensure efficient production processes. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members in the warehouse and production areas to ensure timely completion of projects. Experience Previous experience in industrial painting or auto painting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices is a plus. Knowledge of materials handling and warehouse operations is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
