Do you would like to work for a company where you can receive training and become a certified Metal Finisher. If so, Masis Staffing may have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a skilled Metal Finishers to fill a fulltime position for 1st and 2nd shift in Piedmont, SC. The Metal Finisher will be responsible for completing the final touches on various construction projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail. Must have some metal experience. Candidate will go through a 30-day training program to become a certified Metal Finisher. 1st shift is 7:00am-3:30pm 2nd shift is 3:00pm-11:30am 3rd shift is 11:00pm-7:30am The pay starts at $16 depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Metal Finishers must perform finishing tasks such as sanding, painting, and sealing surfaces Apply drywall compound and finish to walls and ceilings Complete hardscape projects including masonry work Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements Execute metal stud framing and frame carpentry as needed Follow schematics and blueprints for accurate installations
Requirements:
Prior experience in finish work, construction, or related field Proficiency in drywall finishing techniques Metal Finishers must have knowledge of masonry and hardscape construction Metal Finishers must have the ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation Metal Finishers must have strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship This position offers the opportunity to showcase your metal finishing skills in a dynamic construction environment.
