Summary Perform crop production duties, such as planting, hoeing, pruning, weeding, or harvesting crops. Set up laboratory or field equipment as required for site testing. Prepare laboratory samples for analysis, following proper protocols to ensure that they will be stored, prepared, and disposed of efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Field/Crop care – seeding, planting, weeding, hoeing, staking, tying, pruning, fertilizing, harvesting, installing/repairing irrigation, watering.
Field/Crop clean up:
removing plants, stakes, irrigation, plastic mulch.
Greenhouse maintenance:
weeding, cleaning, helping with repairs.
Landscape maintenance:
weeding, pruning, checking irrigation. Collecting samples of leaves, fruit, roots, soil, etc. in numbered bags. Requirements Strong work ethic Ability to prioritize tasks .
