Duties:

Maintains lab work area organized. Test raw materials as well as finished product. Performs and becomes proficient in established testing and operation procedures. Conduct and evaluate shelf life studies at prescribed intervals and report results to management. Coordinates routine lab and equipment maintenance with vendors. Packages and mails samples to vendors, and samples for testing. Perform product attribute testing including viscosity, pH, chemical compositions. Perform lab equipment calibrations and/or verifications as needed. Lab equipment maintenance and problem troubleshoot is required as needed. Develop and executes a critical lab instrument calibration management program. Organize and help maintain lab cleanliness. Coordinate verification, calibration routines and maintenance program for laboratory equipment and instruments in the lab. Support installation and setup of new instruments as needed. Collects and documents routine experiment data using spreadsheets for review and interpretation. Creates Certificates of Analysis. Maintains precise records.

Education/Experience:

Must have a BA/BS in Chemistry, biochemistry, or Related Science Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Word is required. HPLC, identification testing for nutraceuticals Microbioloby Experience with

FDA, GMP
