Food Service Equipment Repair Technician 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Macon, GA Our Food Service Equipment Repair Technicians provide on-site equipment repairs for commercial cooking and warewashing equipment. We are seeking a customer service oriented individual to provide our customers with maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial food service equipment, by diagnosing issues and replacing necessary parts.
DUTIES:
Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of commercial food service equipment. Order and install replacement parts as required. Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring. Repair, replace, or calibrate components on natural gas and LP systems. Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical wiring, controls, and piping as required. Wire and connect motors, pumps, temperature controls, and heating elements as required. Be available for one weekend a month for Clark Service Group’s on-call schedule. Promote a positive work environment and company culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED. Strong mechanical aptitude. CFESA Certificated Technician (preferred). Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. All technicians are subject to annual background checks, clearances, and certifications. Drug tests are administered before and periodically during employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work in extreme conditions (i.e.: hot, cold, dirty environment, etc.) Must be able to bend, reach, and kneel. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to work in all food service environments.
