Lead Landscape Technician – Horticulture 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 1000 Vista Dr, Greensboro, GA 30642
Responsibilities:
Maintenance on all ornamental plantings, ex: fertilizing, watering and pruning Install of plant material Spray/record all chemicals Operate vortex spreader Apply fertilizer growth regulator, soil amendments and pre-emergence Maintain mulch/pine straw areas Operate small equipment Operates construction equipment ex: loader/backhoe Operates all mowing equipment Acts as a foreman and leads other Horticulture employees in the absence of a supervisor Fills in for other Horticulture team members as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or landscape installation Knowledge of plant material Physically able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions. Must be able to accept a leadership role (supervise crew)
